Old Friends, New Friendships
Today our friends Josh and Hailey came over with their 15month old baby girl, Jillian. We haven't seen them in a while so it was such a blessing for us. The last time they saw Sailor was in January at a birthday party and she was much too young to play with then.... so it was so much fun watching the girls interact. Jillian walks everywhere and even talks a little too.... She was pretty much all about having the toy that was in Sailor's hand at the moment, but it worked out because Sailor didn't care that it was being taken away. She just got a new one!! I'm glad she's easy going, because being the younger one of all our friends, she gets picked on alot!! :-) Cameron and I are so blessed to have friends with babies around the same age as Sailor, she will have alot of wonderful friendships growing up. Praise God for that!!

8 Month Angel
Today our little Sailor Bug is 8 months old... YIKES! I look at her every day and thank God for giving me the priveledge to be her mommy. Cameron and I hold her in our arms and that's when we can really tell that she has grown, she takes up half of our body now!! I'm sure this is crazy (hopefully there are other moms out there who feel the same, so I'm not the only psycho one!!) but when they start getting older, they don't spit up near as much as when they are babies... so yesterday Sailor spit up on me and I ACTUALLY MISSED THE SMELL!!! I couldn't believe it!! I seriously hope there are other moms out there who have gone through the same thing since I'm telling this story!! lol
She's in-between 16lbs-17lbs... and working her way into almost ALL 3-6 month clothes now!! FINALLY!! She's crawling around our livingroom floor, but hasn't ventured farther than that... she's also pulling up on the sides of our couch now!!
Most of you haven't seen her crawl yet... up until a couple of day ago she only army crawled. Now she is starting to use her knees to get around(until she gets in a hurry and then she reverts back, lol.)

The Hip Happenings
It's been a little while since I've posted anything.... but alot has been going on!!
Last weekend we went to my parents lake house in Trinity for the first time since Sailor's been born. They just got a new, bigger place to stay, WITH TONS MORE ROOM, (room is what you need when you bring a baby along)! We had a really nice time, the weekend just wasn't long enough.
Sailor and I went over to see Jenn and Haven last week and while we were there Sailor received her FIRST BRUISE!! I think we've done pretty good to get through almost 8 months without one... especially having wood floors!
And these are just some pictures of us eating at Chili's yeaterday after church. She had celery for the first time! I gave her one of my celery sticks to chew on (nothing was ingested, of course).... she really enjoyed it.
